IVIG Therapy

Burbank Specialty Pharmacy is proud to offer a unique IVIG Therapy Program designed to benefit patients with autoimmune disease. Immunoglobulins are proteins manufactured in the body that the immune system uses to produce antibodies and various factors, which are used to communicate with the immune system and modify the immune reaction. Today IVIG is used to treat many different autoimmune disorders by balancing the immune system, strengthening it, reducing overactivity, and/or neutralizing various antibodies.

Burbank Specialty Pharmacy has been an innovator in tailoring this therapy to each individual patient and creating a patient-focused approach that allows us to work together with the physician’s office and/or associated healthcare personnel to provide the patient with excellent care. Our pharmacists and support team are able to provide a continuum of care through their ongoing communication with those involved with the patient’s care. Our services promote and ensure medication safety,
